We don’t have a car or scooter so we walk everywhere. As we meander the streets, we are always discovering new and interesting sights which we enjoy. The photos below are just a few of the sights we saw this week.

Wedding on the beach just below our balcony.

Murals throughout the city painted on walls.

A large Catholic Church tucked on a hill side.
Little neighborhood fruit stand. Best bananas that I have ever tasted.
Petal carts are readily available instead of taxis if you aren’t in a hurry. Drivers try to make theirs unique.
Fresh water is delivered to the home. This is how we get ours. $2.00 per jug. An external pump provides water to our refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser.
Local fire trucks. Pretty vintage!
Another petal cart. About a dollar gets you anywhere in town.
Petal carts can also be used by small businesses.
Street scene in the middle of town.
The ice cream vender.
Even walking down the street, people typically wear a mask. We actually have to show our vaccination card to get into grocery stores.
